Interactive Computer Products, Inc. is a closely-held California
corporation founded in 1982. The founders previously had established
the first commercialization of Light Pens using solid state photodetectors
in 1967. The following 20 plus years of high volume Light Pen design,
manufacturing, and market experience provided the ideal basis for
establishing Interactive Computer Products, Inc. as the leading manufacturer
of Light Pens in the industry.
The advent of the IBM PC and Apple Computers in the early 1980's,
provided an additional impetus for the emerging company. Interactive
quickly established itself as the leader in innovation for both the
OEM market and the developing personal computer market.
Interactive maintains its position as the leading manufacturer
of Light Pens today, by continuing to focus on its primary goals
of cost reduction, customer satisfaction, innovation, and market
driven expansion. Interactive holds several patents and patents pending
for unique circuit designs, Light Pens, and related products, demonstrating
its leadership in true innovation.
Our current product lines include Light Pens, Interfaces, and software
drivers for virtually all computer platforms and operating systems.
New products include not only Light Pens, but also a combination
Light Pen and Barcode scanner in one instrument, multiplexers and
splitters for Light Pens, monitors, keyboard, mice, and hand-held
